The present invention is also directed to methods of mitigating skin staining through using the cosmetic compositions. Cette invention concerne une composition cosmétique pouvant être appliquée sur la peau, les cheveux et les ongles d'un mammifère. Les compositions de cette invention contiennent un polymère et un colorant. Le polymère de la composition atténue la coloration produite par le colorant. Par ailleurs, le polymère et le colorant présentent des charges opposées. Cette invention concerne également des procédés permettant d'atténuer la coloration de la peau grâce à l'utilisation de ces compositions cosmétiques.
