Summary: | A cationically polymerizable resin composition which is excellent in curability and corrosive properties and exhibits little coloring and little curing shrinkage is disclosed. The cationically polymerizable resin composition is suitable as an optical disk protection material. Specifically, the cationically polymerizable resin composition is characterized by comprising (A) an epoxy compound represented by [formula 1] (wherein R1 and R2 are saturated or unsaturated carbon atoms, and R3 is a hydrogen atom or a saturated or unsaturated carbon atom) as an essential component, (B) a cationically polymerizable compound other than the epoxy compound represented by [formula 1], (C) a cationic photopolymerization initiator and (D) a radical photopolymerization initiator.
