L'invention concerne un dispositif de filtration de protection embolique et un procédé de fabrication de celui-ci. Dans au moins quelques modes de réalisation, un procédé de fabrication d'un filtre de protection embolique consiste à utiliser un mandrin (24) et un matériau filtrant (30), à avancer le mandrin en direction du matériau filtrant et à étirer celui-ci, puis à percer une pluralité de trous dans le matériau filtrant.
