Ledit support optique est accessible en écriture et lisible au moyen de lumière bleue, rouge ou infrarouge, de préférence au moyen de lumière laser, ladite couche d'information contenant un composé photoabsorbant et éventuellement un liant. Le support optique selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un colorant azométallique sert de composé photoabsorbant.
