A polar group-containing cyclized rubber which greatly improves adhesion between a coating material and a formed body of a nonpolar polymer such as polypropylene or polyethylene is disclosed. A method for producing such a polar group-containing cyclized rubber is also disclosed. The polar group-containing cyclized rubber has a polar group at the end of the polymer chain and a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-1,000,000. Such a polar group-containing cyclized rubber is obtained by cyclizing a conjugated diene polymer having a polar group at the end of the polymer chain. La présente invention concerne un caoutchouc cyclisé contenant un groupe polaire qui améliore fortement l'adhésion entre un matériau de revêtement et un corps formé en polymère non polaire tel que le polypropylène ou le polyéthylène. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'un tel caoutchouc cyclisé contenant un groupe polaire. Ce caoutchouc cyclisé contenant un groupe polaire dispose d'un groupe polaire à l'extrémité de la chaîne polymère, avec une masse moléculaire moyenne en masse comprise entre 1.000 et 1.000.000. Pour obtenir un tel caoutchouc cyclisé contenant un groupe polaire, on cyclise un conjugué diène polymère portant un groupe polaire à l'extrémité de la chaîne polymère.
