L'invention concerne des dérivés de 4-aminothiéno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carbonitrile présentant la structure chimique de formule générale (I), des sels acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique de ceux-ci, des procédés de préparation de ceux-ci et des compositions pharmaceutiques renfermant ceux-ci, ainsi que l'utilisation de celles-ci dans le traitement, la prévention ou la suppression d'états pathologiques, de maladies et de troubles susceptibles d'être améliorés par l'inhibition de PDE7.
