The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one alkyl para-hydroxybenzoate and at least one lipophilic amino acid derivative, to its cosmetic uses, and to the cosmetic treatment process comprising the application of a composition according to the invention to the skin. The invention also relates to a process for dissolving an alkyl para-hydroxybenzoate using a lipophilic amino acid derivative. The invention also relates to the use of at least one lipophilic amino acid derivative to prevent the adsorption of at least one alkyl parahydroxybenzoate onto solid particles. La présente invention concerne une composition cosmétique contenant, dans un milieu physiologiquement acceptable, au moins un parahydroxybenzoate d'alkyle et au moins un dérivé d'acide aminé lipophile, les utilisations cosmétiques de cette composition ainsi qu'un procédé de traitement cosmétique par l'application de ladite composition sur la peau. Cette invention concerne également un procédé pour dissoudre un parahydroxybenzoate d'alkyle à l'aide d'un dérivé d'acide aminé lipophile. Ladite invention se rapporte en outre à l'utilisation d'au moins un dérivé d'acide aminé lipophile pour prévenir l'adsorption d'au moins un parahydroxybenzoate d'alkyle sur des particules solides.
