Summary: | An oil ring with which sliding friction in a high speed running range of a piston can be reduced and having excellent ability to reduce fuel consumption. The oil ring has a substantially letter I-shaped cross section where two rails are connected by a column portion. Sliding portion projections formed on the two rails have sliding portion projection outside faces forming outside portions of the slide portion projections, sliding portion inside faces forming inside portions of the sliding projections, and sliding faces forming tip portions of the sliding projection portions. Sliding portion outside faces each have taper angles in the range between 10º and 60º. Outside edge portions at which the sliding portion projection outside faces and the sliding faces meet are formed in a curve, and the sliding faces have curve-faced sliding portions that meet sliding portion projection outside faces and have a curve-face form.
L'invention concerne un segment racleur dont le fortement de glissement dans une plage de course de vitesse élevée peut être réduit et possédant une très bonne capacité à réduire la consommation de carburant. Le segment racleur possède une forme de section transversale sensiblement en forme de lettre I où deux rails sont connectés par une portion de colonne. Les projections de portions glissantes formées sur les deux rails comportent des faces extérieures de projection de portion glissante formant des portions extérieures des projections de portions glissantes, des faces intérieures de portion glissante formant des portions intérieures des projections glissantes, et des faces glissantes formant des portions d'embouts des projections de portions glissantes. Les faces extérieures de portion glissante possèdent chacune des angles obliques compris entre 10 DEG et 60 DEG . Les portions de bord extérieur auxquels les faces extérieures de projection de portion glissante et les faces glissantes se rencontrent sont formées selon une courbe, et les faces glissantes comportent des portions glissantes à face courbe qui rencontrent les faces extérieures de projection de portion glissante et possèdent une forme de face courbe. |
