It is intended to provide an antiallergic agent, an antiinflammatory agent and a hyaluronidase activity inhibitor, which can be highly safely and easily produced from a natural material having been eaten by humans, and foods, drinks, cosmetics and bathing preparations containing the same. Namely, it becomes possible to provide an antiallergic agent, an antiinflammatory agent and a hyaluronidase activity inhibitor, which contain a Saussurea extract, and foods, drinks, cosmetics and bathing preparations containing the same. It also becomes possible to utilize the hyaluronidase inhibitory effect of a Saussurea extract to thereby provide a hyaluronic acid-containing cosmetic comprising the extract. La présente invention concerne un agent anti-allergique, un agent anti-inflammatoire et un inhibiteur d'activité hyaluronidase, qui peuvent être produits facilement et de manière sûre à partir de matériaux naturels comestibles pour l'homme, ainsi que des aliments, des boissons, des produits cosmétiques et des préparations pour le bain contenant ces éléments. On peut ainsi obtenir un agent anti-allergique, un agent anti-inflammatoire et un inhibiteur d'activité hyaluronidase, qui contiennent un extrait de saussurea, ainsi que des aliments, des boissons, des produits cosmétiques et des préparations pour le bain contenant ces éléments. On peut aussi utiliser l'effet inhibiteur de hyaluronidase de l'extrait de saussurea de façon à obtenir ainsi un produit cosmétique contenant de l'acide hyaluronique qui comprend cet extrait.
