The present invention relates to a method in a portable, digital device for generating a multimedia message, comprising a multimedia object, and to such a digital portable device. The method involves the following steps: a) emitting an interrogating radio signal in order to stimulate an RFID-transponder tag to emit a response signal; b) receiving such a response signal, which includes tag information, associated with a multimedia object; and c) initiating the transmission of a multimedia message based upon the tag information. This allows a multimedia message to be created without extra work for the user. La présente invention porte sur un procédé visant à générer un message multimédia dans un dispositif numérique portable comprenant un objet multimédia, et sur un dispositif portable numérique. Le procédé consiste à: a) émettre un signal radio d'interrogation afin de stimuler une étiquette à transpondeur d'identification par radiofréquence pour obtenir un signal de réponse; b) recevoir un signal de réponse comprenant les informations de l'étiquette associées à un objet multimédia; et c) déclencher la transmission d'un message multimédia en fonction des informations de l'étiquette. Ce procédé permet de créer un message multimédia sans travail supplémentaire pour l'utilisateur.
