Summary:A fluid pump (10) includes a pump housing (12) having a housing cavity with an inlet and an outlet. A diffuser (20) is located within the housing cavity, and includes a portion that is attached to the housing. The diffuser has a diffuser cavity, in which a stator assembly (36) and canister (40) are located. The canister provides a seal where it contacts the diffuser; this isolates the stator assembly from the fluid. The stator assembly provides a magnetic field which drives a rotor assembly. The rotor assembly rotates an impeller, which pumps the fluid from the inlet to the outlet. L'invention concerne une pompe (10) comprenant un boîtier de pompe (12) à cavité qui présente une entrée et une sortie. Un diffuseur (20) se trouve dans la cavité, comprenant une partie fixée au boîtier. Le diffuseur présente une cavité accueillant un ensemble stator (36) et une cartouche (40). La cartouche tient lieu de joint qui, en contact avec le diffuseur, isole l'ensemble stator du fluide de la pompe. L'ensemble stator fournit un champ magnétique qui entraîne un ensemble rotor, lequel fait tourner une tête de pompe pompant le fluide de l'entrée vers la sortie.
