A position notifying device (1) acquires from a data terminal device (3) identification information and position request for requesting for position information of a subject, while storing in a memory part (11) identification information for identifying the data terminal device (3). In response to the identification information and position request, the position notifying device (1) determines whether the identification information acquired at this time is stored in the memory part (11). If so, the position notifying device (1) produces and transmits position information of the subject to the data terminal device (3).
