A method for rapid loading of casing-bearing sleeves on the stuffing tube of a sausage machine (10) , provides for placing the preloaded sleeves (44) on a feeder mechanism and selectively and sequentially moving the sleeves (44) into registering position with the discharge end (15) of an emulsion stuffing tube (14); sequentially moving the stuffing tube (14) into each of the sleeves (44) and extruding emulsion through the stuffing tube (14) into the casing ( (52) mounted on the sleeve (44) until the sleeve is slidably removed from the tube (14) caused in part by the movement of emulsion entering the casing. The apparatus has a fixture suitably movably mounted on the machine with a plurality of preloaded sleeves (44) thereon for sequential movement for selective alignment of the sleeves with the stuffing tube (14)for sequential filling of the casings with emulsion. L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de charger rapidement des manchons porte-boyaux sur le tube de remplissage d'une machine à saucisses (10), qui consiste à placer les manchons (44) préchargés sur un mécanisme d'alimentation et à déplacer de manière sélective et séquentielle lesdits manchons (44) en position de coïncidence avec l'extrémité de décharge (15) d'un tube (14) de remplissage à émulsion; à déplacer séquentiellement ledit tube (14) dans chacun des manchons (44) et à extruder l'émulsion par ledit tube (14) dans le boyau (52) placé sur le manchon (44), ledit boyau étant ensuite enlevé du tube (14) de manière coulissante, en partie du fait du mouvement de l'émulsion pénétrant dans le boyau. L'appareil a un dispositif de fixation monté de manière appropriée et mobile sur la machine et porte plusieurs manchons (44) préchargés, le déplacement se faisant séquentiellement et les manchons (44) s'alignant de manière sélective avec ledit tube (14) en vue du remplissage séquentiel des boyaux avec de l'émulsion.
