It is intended to provide drugs which contain as the active ingredient at least one member selected from among riboflavin, riboflavin derivatives and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof and have an effect of inhibiting a cytokine such as IL-1beta, IL-6, IL-10, INF-gamma, TNF-alpha, GM-CSF, IL-8 or MCP-1; and preventives or remedies for inflammatory diseases accompanied by hypercytokinemia which have an excellent cytokine inhibitory effect. L'invention concerne des médicaments qui contiennent comme principe actif au moins un élément sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant la riboflavine, des dérivés de riboflavine et des sels pharmacologiquement acceptables de ceux-ci, et qui ont pour effet d'inhiber une cytokine telle qu'IL-1 beta , IL-6, IL-10, INF- gamma , TNF- alpha , GM-CSF, IL-8 ou MCP-1 ; et des agents visant à prévenir ou à traiter des maladies inflammatoires s'accompagnant d'hypercytokinémie, qui possèdent un excellent effet d'inhibition de cytokines.
