Summary:A switch gear, comprising vacuum valves (1) having axes disposed parallel with a floor surface, load side conductors (2) connected to one ends of the vacuum valves (1), first connection conductors (9) disposed so that the longitudinal directions thereof are positioned parallel with the axial directions of the vacuum valves (1) and having one ends connected to the other ends of the vacuum valves (1), and second connection conductors (10) disposed so that the longitudinal directions thereof are positioned generally perpendicular to the axial directions of the vacuum valves (1) and having one ends connected to the other ends of the first connection conductors (9) and the other ends connected to buses (11), whereby the size of the switch gear can be reduced. A switch gear, comprising vacuum valves 1 having axes disposed parallel with a floor surface, load side conductors 2 connected to one ends of the vacuum valves 1, first connection conductors 9 disposed so that the longitudinal directions thereof are positioned parallel with the axial directions of the vacuum valves 1 and having one ends connected to the other ends of the vacuum valves 1, and second connection conductors 10 disposed so that the longitudinal directions thereof are positioned generally perpendicular to the axial directions of the vacuum valves 1 and having one ends connected to the other ends of the first connection conductors 9 and the other ends connected to buses 11, whereby the size of the switch gear can be reduced.
