Summary:In a centoroidal deflection yoke, the middle point CL (M) of the whole length in the tube axial direction from the large diamter part (34L) to the small−diameter part (34S) of a magnetic core (34) is located closer to the small−diameter part (30S) than to a point 0.41 x HL away from the large diameter part (30L) of the horizontal deflection coil in the tube axial direction when the length of the horizontal deflection coil (30a, 30b) in the tube axial direction is HL. The deflection yoke enables an optimum reduction in its deflection power with an electron beam deflected efficiently. A cathode ray tube comprising this deflection yoke enables an improvement in pin−cushion type strain of a screen in the vertical directions to display a high−quality image. Dans un collet de déviation centroïde, le point médian CL (M) de la longueur totale dans le sens axial du tube entre la partie à grand diamètre (34L) et la partie à petit diamètre (34S) d'un noyau magnétique (34), est situé plus près de la partie à petit diamètre (30S) que d'un point 0,41x HL éloigné de la partie à grand diamètre (30L) d'une bobine de déflexion horizontale dans le sens axial du tube, lorsque la longueur de la bobine de déflexion (30a, 30b) dans le sens du tube axial correspond à HL. Le collet de déviation permet une réduction optimale de la puissance de déflexion et une déflexion efficace d'un faisceau électronique. Un tube cathodique comprenant ledit collet de déviation permet une amélioration de la contrainte induisant une distorsion en coussinet d'un écran dans le sens vertical, de sorte qu'une image de grande qualité soit affichée.
