Summary: | An acid−modified propylene polymer satisfying the following (1) to (3). The intrinsic viscosity [ ] (as measured in decalin at 135°C): 1 dL g or higher. The ratio of acid content to the number of polymer chains (ß value): from 0.5 to 3.0. The content of components having molecular weight Mw of 10,000 or lower (LP content): 0.5 wt.% or lower. The content of unreacted acid (compound containing ethylenic double bond and polar group in the same molecule): 2 wt.% or lower. The polymer has a high molecular weight and retains properties of the raw propylene polymer. It is hence usable as a film or molding.
An acid-modified propylene polymer satisfying the following 1 to 3. The intrinsic viscosity [eta] as measured in decalin at 135°C: 1 dL/g or higher. The ratio of acid content to the number of polymer chains ß value: from 0.5 to 3.0. The content of components having molecular weight Mw of 10,000 or lower LP content: 0.5 wt.% or lower. The content of unreacted acid compound containing ethylenic double bond and polar group in the same molecule: 2 wt.% or lower. The polymer has a high molecular weight and retains properties of the raw propylene polymer. It is hence usable as a film or molding.
