Summary:When a character key is input S103: YES, characters are stored in an RAM so that the characters input are inserted into a caret position of the character string S105. According to the character string length including an added character, size of each character is decided. According to the decided character size and the number of lines of character strings, the length of tape image is modified so that the entire character string can be contained S106. When this results in that the caret cannot be contained in a screen S108: NO, the tape image is moved so that the caret can be contained in the screen S109. Thus, an operator can easily check the actual layout of the printed tape without performing a complicated operation. Lorsque les caractères sont frappés au clavier (S103 : OUI), ils sont stockés dans une mémoire RAM de façon à être insérés dans une position caret de la chaîne de caractères (A105). On se base sur la longueur de la chaîne de caractères à laquelle on ajoute un caractère pour calculer la longueur de chaque caractère. En fonction de la longueur du caractère et du nombre de lignes de chaînes de caractères, on modifie la longueur de l'image bande de sorte qu'elle puisse contenir la totalité de la chaîne de caractères (S106). Lorsque cela abouti au fait que le caret ne peut pas être contenu dans un écran (S108 : NON), l'image bande est déplacée de façon que le caret soit contenu dans l'écran (S109). Un opérateur peut ainsi facilement vérifier la disposition réelle de la bande imprimée sans effectuer d'opération compliquée.
