Summary:To a scan plane of a sample administrated by a contrast medium, an ultrasonic wave transmitter (6) transmits an ultrasonic pulse of intensity to destroy the contrast medium a plurality of times. An ultrasonic wave receiver (5) receives an echo signal group based on the ultrasonic pulse from the sample. The echo signal group is added by an adder (5C) to create a plurality of RF data sets. A TIC·MTT measurement unit (25) measures a luminance time intensity curve (TIC) according to the plurality of RF data sets and measures a blood mean transit time (MTT) according to the luminance time intensity curve. The measurement result is displayed on a display unit (21).
