The method comprises treating the metallic nanoparticles with at least one stabilizing compound having at least one functional group selected from phosphoric and phosphonic acids and salts thereof, phosphine, phosphine oxide and phosphonium, whereby the dispersion is stable for at least one week. Cette invention concerne un procédé consistant à traiter des nanoparticules métalliques avec au moins un composé de stabilisation qui comporte au moins un groupe fonctionnel choisis parmi les composés suivants - acides phosphoriques et phosphoniques et leurs sels, phosphine, oxyde de phosphine et phosphonium - la dispersion ainsi obtenue étant stable pendant au moins une semaine.
