A bactericide which contains as the active ingredient a diamine derivative represented by the formula (1): (1) wherein R1 to R7 each represents a specific substituent, e.g., C1−6 alkyl; and R8 represents optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted heteroaryl. It has an excellent herbicidal activity against rice blast and causes no damage to useful crops. La présente invention concerne un bactéricide qui contient un dérivé de diamine comme principe actif représenté par la formule (1): (1) Dans cette formule R1-R7 représentent chacun un substituant spécifique, par exemple C>1-6< alkyle et R8 représente éventuellement aryle substitué ou éventuellement hétéroaryle substitué. Ce composé possède une excellente activité herbicide contre la piriculariose du riz et il ne cause aucun dommage aux cultures utiles.
