La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant l'identification et l'isolation de séquences d'acide nucléique exprimées qui sont associées à la résistance aux maladies d'un végétal contre un agent pathogène végétal, des molécules d'acide nucléique isolées et des variantes et/ou homologues de celles-ci, des constructs, des végétaux et des polypeptides codés par lesdites séquences nucléotidiques, ainsi que l'utilisation de ces séquences pour permettre à des végétaux de développer une résistance à des agents pathogènes.
