Finally, the intervention rate is maintained for a predetermined period of time. L'invention concerne un procédé empêchant la récurrence de fibrillations auriculaires d'un coeur. On détecte des fibrillations auriculaires. Plusieurs impulsions de stimulation augmentent la vitesse du coeur jusqu'à ce qu'une vitesse d'intervention soit transmise au coeur lorsque les fibrillations auriculaires s'achèvent. Finalement, la vitesse d'intervention est maintenue pendant une durée prédéterminée.
