Summary: | An apparatus and process for recovering metals from aqueous solutions by passing an aqueous solution (14), which contains dissolved metals, into a space (16) between two elongated electrodes (20, 30) of a treatment chamber (10). A very high voltage electric field is created in the treatment chamber (10) and is accompanied by a very small trickle current charge (i) to enhance adsorption, polarization, ion exchange or to otherwise agglomerate the dissolved metal, which is then recovered by filtering, adsorbing, exchanging or otherwise separating the metal from the water.
Dispositif et procédé servant à récupérer des métaux de solutions aqueuses, ce qui consiste à faire passer une solution aqueuse (14) contenant des métaux dissous, dans un espace (16) entre deux électrodes allongées (20, 30) d'une chambre de traitement (10). On crée un champ électrique de tension extrêmement élevée dans la chambre de traitement (10) et on accompagne ce champ par une charge de courant d'entretien (i) très petite afin d'augmenter l'adsorption, la polarisation, l'échange d'ions ou d'agglomérer le métal dissous, qu'on récupère ensuite par filtration, adsorption, échange ou séparation du métal et de l'eau. |
