Summary: | A diode-laser-pumped resonator (20) including ari Nd:YAG gain element (30), is arranged to generates fundamental radiation having a wavelength which is one of about 1123 nm, 1116 nm, and 1112 nm. The resonator further includes an optically non-linear crystal (32), which is arranged to frequency-double the fundamental radiation. This will provide second harmonic radiation having a wavelength which is correspondingly one of 562nm, 558 nm, or 556 nm. The resonator may also comprise a wavelength-selective device (34), such as an etalon.
Dans cette invention, un résonateur (20) pompé par une diode laser, comportant un élément à gain Nd-YAG (30), émet un rayonnement fondamental dont la longueur d'onde correspond à environ 1123 nm, 1116 nm, et 1112 nm. Ce résonateur comprend également un cristal optiquement non linéaire (32), servant à doubler la fréquence du rayonnement fondamental. Ceci permet d'obtenir un rayonnement de deuxième harmonique dont la longueur d'onde correspond à 562nm, 558 nm, ou 556 nm.
