Bei einer Ein- oder Mehrzylinder-Brennkraftmaschine ist im Zylinderdeckel (7) ein Drainagekanal (12, 14) vorgesehen, der mit einem Ende radial innerhalb der Ringdichtung im Bereich des Innenrands der Zylinderlaufbuchse (2) mündet und dessen anderes Ende mit dem Ein (13) - oder Auslasskanal (15) im Zylinderdeckel (7) verbunden ist. In a single- or multi-cylinder internal combustion engine a drainage channel (12, 14) is provided in the cylinder head (7) which opens out radially at one end thereof, within the annular gasket in the region of the inner wall of the cylinder liner (2). The other end thereof is connected to the inlet (13) or outlet (15) port in the cylinder head (7).
