L'invention concerne un procédé de désulfuration d'hydrocarbures à point d'ébullition de naphtha, tels que du naphtha de craquage. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention consiste à hydrotraiter le naphtha dans des conditions d'hydrotraitement sélectives, et ensuite à éliminer des mercaptans de l'effluent d'hydrotraitement à l'aide d'un agent d'extraction alcalin.
