This invention provides a hand held pipette which is ergonomically designed to reduce user fatigue and injury. The pipette preferably includes a nozzle extending downward at a selected angle from a point near the top of a base portion of the pipette, the base portion being grasped by the operator's hand, and may also include a hook extending from a second point near the top of the body portion which is angularly spaced from the first point, which hook extends over a portion of a user's hand to support the pipette thereon. The pipette is also designed to permit operation with the user's wrist and arm in a neutral position and minimizes local pressure points on the operator's hand. L'invention concerne une pipette manuelle ergonomique permettant à un utilisateur de moins se fatiguer et de ne pas se blesser. La pipette comprend, de préférence, une buse s'étendant vers le bas dans un angle sélectionné à partir d'un point situé près de la partie supérieure de la base de la pipette, ladite base étant saisie par la main de l'utilisateur. La pipette peut également comprendre un crochet s'étendant à partir d'un second point situé près de la partie supérieure du corps angulairement séparé du premier point, ledit crochet s'étendant sur une partie de la main de l'utilisateur de façon à servir de support à la pipette. La pipette peut également être utilisée alors que le poignet et le bras de l'utilisateur sont en position neutre, et permet de minimiser les points de pression sur la main de l'utilisateur.
