Disclosed is an auxiliary air bumper located at the lower part of a front and/or rear bumper of a motor vehicle. Then auxiliary air bumper comprises an air tube disposed on the lower part of the main bumper, to be inflated by the air injected thereinto, an air tank disposed on one side of the air tube, containing the compressed air to be charged into the air tube, a nozzle attached to the air tank so as to be opened at the time of sudden stop of the motor vehicle, a collection part disposed on the other side of the air tube, for collecting the air supplied to the air tube, and a connection part for connecting the collection part with the air tank to recharge the air collected by the collection part into the air tank. According to this construction, as soon as a driver brings to a sudden stop while running at a constant speed, the auxiliary air bumper is filled up by means of the compressed air to then be bounced out, which prevents a collided person from being crushed under the vehicle when the vehicle collides with a person. L'invention concerne un pare-chocs à air auxiliaire situé au niveau de la partie inférieure d'un pare-chocs avant et/ou arrière d'un véhicule automobile. Ledit pare-chocs à air auxiliaire comprend une chambre à air placée sur la partie inférieure du pare-chocs principal, destinée à être gonflée par l'air injecté dans celle-ci, un réservoir d'air prévu sur un côté de la chambre à air, contenant l'air comprimé à charger dans la chambre à air, une buse fixée au réservoir d'air, destinée à s'ouvrir en cas d'arrêt soudain du véhicule automobile, une partie de collecte prévue sur l'autre côté de la chambre à air, conçue pour collecter l'air envoyé à la chambre à air, et une pièce de raccord conçue pour raccorder la partie de collecte au réservoir d'air, de manière que l'air collecté soit rechargé dans le réservoir d'air par la partie de collecte. Cette construction permet, dès qu'un conducteur provoque l'arrêt soudain alors qu'il roule à une vitesse constante, le remplissage du pare-chocs à air auxiliaire au moyen de l'air comprimé, de sorte qu'il soit projeté vers l'extérieur et empêche une personne heurtée d'être écrasée sous le véhicule lorsque ce dernier la heurte.
