The present invention provides purified disease deection and treatment molecule polynucleotides (mdd). Also encompassed are the polypeptides (MDDT) enoded by mddt. The invention also provides for the se of mddt, or complements, oligonucleotides, or fagments thereof in diagnostic assays. The inventio further provides for vectors and host cells contaning mddt for the expression of MDDT. The inventio additionally provides for the use of isolated andpurified MDDT to induce antibodies and to screen lbraries of compounds and the use of anti-MDDT antiodies in diagnostic assays. Also provided are micrarrays containing mddt and mehtods of use.
