METHOD FOR MAKING MONOMERS WITH TWO QUATERNARY AMINO GROUPS AND (CO)POLYMERS OBTAINED FROM SAID MONOMERS

Summary:The invention concerns a method for preparing compound (I), which consists in introducing a quaternizing agent R - X<-> in a solution, in a organic solvent or a mixture of organic solvents, of a compound of formula (III), at a temperature between 35 to 80 DEG C, then allowing the reaction to occur at said temperature until compound (III) has completely or substantially disappeared; and adding water, and then preparing an aqueous dispersion of compound (I), and eliminating water, as the case may be. R = H or -CH3; R = one among -CH3, -C2H5, -C3H7 and -C4H9; both R 's are identical or different and represent each one among -CH3, -CH2H5, -C3H7, -C4H9 and -CH2C6H5; the two X<-> are identical or different and represent each Cl<-> or Br<->.
