Polypeptides having the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS:2, 4 and 6; DNAs encoding the same; antibodies against these polypeptides; and utilization of the same. The above amino acid sequences are homologous with chondromodulin-I which has effects of controlling the proliferation and differentiation of cartilage cells and inhibiting angiogenesis. La présente invention concerne des polypeptides dont les séquences d'acides aminés sont représentées par les SEQ ID NOS:2, 4 et 6, des ADN les codant, des anticorps dirigés contre ces polypeptides, et leur utilisation. Ces séquences d'acides aminés sont des homologues de la chondromoduline-I qui a pour effet de s'opposer à la prolifération et la différentiation des cellules des cartilages et d'inhiber l'angiogenèse.
