L'invention concerne un retardateur de mise en marche électronique programmable pour retarder la mise en marche d'unités de réfrigération (10, 12, 14) pour une période de retard variable, programmable par un utilisateur. Ce retard permet à un groupe d'unités de réfrigération, toutes alimentées par la même source (16), d'être remises en marche à différents intervalles de temps, après une panne de courant, afin d'empêcher une surcharge de la source d'alimentation ou des circuits correspondants.
