alpha -Sulfenimino acid derivatives of formula (I) including the optical isomers thereof and mixtures of such isomers, wherein A is cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl or heteroaryl, each optionally substituted, B is a direct bond or optionally substituted alkylene, E is hydrogen or optionally substituted aryl, R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl or arylalkyl, each optionally substituted, and T is NH or oxygen, have been found to be useful for controlling or preventing the infestation of plants by phytopathogenic microorganisms, especially fungi. Dérivés d'acide alpha -sulfenimino représentés par la formule I (I) y compris leurs isomères optiques et les mélanges de ces isomères, dans laquelle A représente cycloalkyle, cycloalkényle, aryle ou hétéroaryle, chacun éventuellement substitué ; B représente une liaison directe ou alkylène éventuellement substitué ; E représente hydrogène ou aryle éventuellement substitué ; R représente hydrogène, alkyle, alkényle, alkynyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, aryle ou arylalkyle, chacun éventuellement substitué, et T représente NH ou oxygène. Ces dérivés se sont avérés utiles pour lutter contre l'infestation de plantes par des micro-organismes phytopathogènes, en particulier des champignons. L'invention concerne ces nouveaux composés et également leur préparation, ainsi que leur utilisation afin de protéger des plantes, et des compositions permettant d'appliquer ces nouveaux composés dans des techniques agricoles.
