The plunger has a finger loop (152), and the housing has a gripping member (120) at the proximal end of the housing for verifying the proper intubation of the endotracheal tube. L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection (10) conçu pour être fixé sur l'extrémité distale d'une sonde endotrachéale (12) afin de permettre une intubation adéquate dans la voie aérienne d'un sujet. Ce dispositif de détection comprend un logement (70) contenant un plongeur coulissant (140). Ce dernier comprend un anneau digital (152) et le logement comprend un élément de prise (120) situé au niveau de l'extrémité proximale, de manière à vérifier que l'intubation de la sonde endotrachéale a été correctement effectuée.
