L'invention concerne de nouveaux composés présentant un activité d'inhibition de la chymase, et utiles en tant que médicaments divers, par exemple les substances SF2809-I, SF2809-II, SF2809-III, SF2809-IV, SF2809-V, et SF2809-VI représentées par la formule générale (VII), ainsi que les sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ces composés. Dans la formule précitée, R représente hydrogène, phényle ou p-hydroxyphényle ; et R représente acétylamino(-NHCOCH3) ou hydroxyle. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation des substances 2809, ainsi que des compositions de médicaments renfermant lesdites substances.
