Es wird eine Senkbremseinrichtung für eine hydraulische Hebebühne beschrieben, die mittels Parallellenkeranordnung die Arbeitsbühne bewegt und beim Absenken der Arbeitsbühne mittels Öffnen des Senkventils des Hydraulikzylinders die Stellung des Senkventils von der Stellung des Bedienpedals für das Senkventil entkoppelt ist. Um die Senkgeschwindigkeit der Arbeitsbühne bei Erreichen der unteren Ruhelage der Arbeitsbühne zu drosseln, wird die Stellung des Senkventils abhängig von der Höhenlage der Arbeitsbühne verstellt und kann damit die Sicherheitsbelange erfüllen.
