Summary: | Composition comprises: poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT); polystyrene sulfonate (PSS); and a sulfonic acid compound (A). Composition comprises: poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT); polystyrene sulfonate (PSS); and a sulfonic acid compound of formula (A). Ar1, Ar2 : aryl ring substituted by a hydrophobic substituent, preferably -O-(CH 2) 2-O-(CH 2) 2-OCH 3; and x, y : 0-1. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing the composition, comprising mixing (A) in a dispersion containing PEDOT and PSS; (2) forming an optoelectronic device, preferably a photovoltaic cell in inverted configuration, comprising depositing on a layer of composition to form a hole transport layer (HTL) on the active layer; (3) an optoelectronic device a layer comprising PEDOT, PSS and (A); and (4) use of (A) to increase the ability of a composition containing PEDOT and PSS to wet a layer, preferably the active layer of an optoelectronic device.
