Summary:A cylinder head cover for a cylinder head of a piston engine may include a cover body for mounting on the cylinder head. The cover body may include a cover body section and a first longitudinal side edge disposed opposite a second longitudinal side edge. An outer cover seal may seal off the cover body from the cylinder head and extend completely around along an outer edge of the cover body. A securing bridge may be fitted over the cover body on an outer side along the cover body section from the first longitudinal side edge of the cover body to the second longitudinal side edge.
