Summary:The present invention discloses structurally constrained synthetic peptides that have been optimized for the formation of a beta hairpin structure. Said peptides are able to inhibit or attenuate Dengue virus (DENV) infections. The invention also discloses pharmaceutical compositions containing these synthetic peptides, which are useful for the prevention and/or treatment of DENV-caused infections. Likewise, the invention disclosed a method for treating infections caused by this virus.
