Summary:According to an embodiment, a superconductive coil device includes a non-coplanar three-dimensional superconductive saddle type coil including a wound superconductive wire. The superconductive saddle type coil includes: longitudinal portions extending along a longitudinal direction of a magnetic field generation area; crossing portions extending along an edge line of a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the magnetic field generation area; and bent portions connecting the longitudinal portions and the crossing portions. The crossing portions are linear in shape when seen in the longitudinal direction.
