Summary:A spice mill includes a gear mechanism operable in a first operational state wherein the gear mechanism is coupled to a first grinding mechanism and a second operational state wherein the gear mechanism is coupled to a second grinding mechanism. A selector connected to the gear mechanism is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the gear mechanism is operable in the first operational state and in the second position the gear mechanism is operable in the second operational state. A cover part is rotatably mounted to the body and connected to the gear mechanism. Rotation of the cover part in a first direction rotates the first grinding mechanism when the gear mechanism is in the first operational state and rotation of the cover part in the first direction rotates the second grinding mechanism when the gear mechanism is in the second operational state.
