Summary:There is provided a wet paper web transfer belt for transferring a wet paper web, comprising: a wet paper web carrying side resin layer having a wet paper web carrying surface for carrying the wet paper web; and a roll side resin layer having a roll contacting surface. A water swelling rate of a resin material constituting the wet paper web carrying side resin layer and a water swelling rate of a resin material constituting the roll side resin layer are different, and the water swelling rate of the resin material constituting the wet paper web carrying side resin layer is 2.0% or more and the water swelling rate of the resin material constituting the roll side resin layer is 10.0% or less.
