Summary:An image output apparatus and a method of rendering an image thereof are provided. The method includes: a data input configured to receive stroke attribute information; a vertex generator configured to generate a vertex which indicates an outer appearance of a stroke based on the stroke attribute information; an alpha value setter configured to calculate a size of a texture based on the stroke attribute information and set an alpha value that will be stored in the texture; a UV setter configured to set UV information based on the stroke attribute information; a renderer configured to render the stroke based on the vertex, the texture in which the alpha value is stored and the UV information; and an output configured to output the rendered stroke.
