Summary:The present disclosure relates to a method for locating a radionuclide emitting positons and having a child core emitting a photon by de-excitation, that includes detecting a radionuclide response line using a positon-emitting tomography camera. According to the disclosure, for each of the arrangements ordered by pairs of first and second interactions of the Compton type detected by a Compton telescope, the method comprises determining the angle between the direction of the incident photon of the first interaction and the geometrical axis connecting the position of the first interaction with the position of the second interaction, determining the half-aperture cones of the angle in which the geometrical surface does not include an intersection with line, selecting at least one cone in which the geometrical surface includes an intersection with line, selecting the radionuclide position from said reconstructed intersection of the response line with the geometrical surface of the selected cone.
