Summary:A sensing device comprises a sensor housing defined in part by two or more outer planes, a light guide including one or more legs, where the light guide defined in part by a vertical plane, and the light guide is an indicator for the sensing device. The light guide extends along a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion is disposed along at a first outer plane of the housing, the second portion is disposed along a second outer plane of the housing. The sensing device further includes a light source disposed adjacent to the light guide, and the light guide includes at least one slot therein. The light source is directed toward the slot, and a surface within the slot transmits light in multiple directions.
