Summary:Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for managing application program interface calls. In one aspect, a method includes generating a first API call to an advertising service. The first API call requests first entities corresponding to a campaign management entity. A set of first entities is received in response to the API call. An instruction for a request for second data associated with a particular first entity is processed. A determination is made, in response to the processing, that the second data associated with particular first entity is not stored in the local cache. In response to the determining, the request for second data associated with the particular first entity is expanded to a request for second data associated with each of a multitude of additional first entities in the set of first entities.
