Summary:A temperature protection device of an electronic device according to the present technology is inserted and connected in a current-carrying circuit between a power supply unit and an electronic device main body in which a temperature detecting element is installed, and includes a first switch inserted and connected in series in the current-carrying circuit from the power supply unit to the electronic device main body, a cutoff unit for controlling on/off of the first switch, a current fusing element of which one end is connected to the current-carrying circuit to the electronic device main body, a second switch connected to the other end of the current fusing element, and a controller for controlling on/off of the second switch based on a temperature detection signal from the temperature detecting element.
