Summary:An animal excrement collection device comprising a collection bag with a front panel defining a first opening, a sheath formed in the front panel and located proximate to the perimeter of the first opening, first and second lock pins removeably attached to the excrement collection bag, a filament located within the sheath and comprising a first end connected to the first lock pin and a second end connected to the second lock pin, a first string with a first end removeably connected to the first lock pin and a second end in communication with the front panel, a second string with a first end removeably connected to the second lock pin and a second end in communication with the front panel, wherein a user closes the opening and disengages the from the animal by pulling on the first and second lock pins.
