Summary:Flanges for use in basement waterproofing systems, and methods for their installation are disclosed. The flange may be installed at the interface between the foundation wall and footing at the sub-floor level. The flange comprises an angular portion extending from a vertical portion. The flange may also include a lip to facilitate installation, as well as one or more adhesive sections to enable the establishment of a closed system. The flange may be flexible and may include one or more tear-away features to allow the height of the flange to be altered. The flange may function in conjunction with a vapor barrier and other components of a waterproofing system, such as a drainage conduit and sump. The flange may be used in new installations as well as in retrofitting existing basements with a waterproofing system.
